Boys Basketball Finish with 2 Straight Wins

The Hornets defense led them to a victory over the Madison Mohawks on the final home game of the 2015 season. Before the game nearly 100 youth boys basketball players and coaches were recognized.  During the game, Monroe allowed only 5 points in the 2nd quarter to go into halftime with a 2 point lead.  The boys were able to stretch the lead in the 3rd and 4th quarter to win by the final margin of 10 points. Senior Ethan Jeffers dominated the game with 18 points, 10 rebounds and a block. 

Congradulations to seniors Troy Beck, Brandon Aning, Adam Parks, Ethan Jeffers, Andy Caron and Christian Jones.  Senior Cheerleader Lydia Ihle was also recognized. 

The Hornets hit the road to Brookville to wrap up the regular season and won 45-42 to solidify a 5th place finish in the SWBL.
