Summer Opportunity for Current Sophomores and Juniors

For Current Sophomores's and Juniors. Today's Learners, Tomorrow's Leaders (TL2) is a 3-week summer program that that allows students to earn three (3) transferable semester hours from University of Cincinnati (Microeconomics 101) while still in high school. The course is also approved as a dual enrollment course and can count toward a high school degree.

The program is designed to provide students with content knowledge in microeconomics, a history and an introduction to the local economy, and an insight into the many careers that are available to young people in our region upon college graduation.

In addition, the participants in the program have the opportunity to:
Network with students from other high schools in our region
Go on field trips where they learn directly from employees and senior management teams at some of the top area companies
Experience first-hand the vibrant and successful professional community that Cincinnati offers and learn about future career opportunities.
This year, we will visit companies such as: Michelman Inc., Sur Seal, The Cincinnati REDS, Luxottica, Kings Island, P&G, etc.

Program Dates:
Monday, June 8 - Friday, June 26, 2015. This is not a residential program. Meets every week day from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. No sessions on the weekends.

Application Deadline: May 26, 2015. Participation limited to 40 students.
Application Requirements: Personal statement, letter of recommendation, HS transcript
Cost: $480 (includes program fee and tuition).
Location: University of Cincinnati, Clifton campus.
