The boys track team from Monroe ran their way to medals twice in the Divison II OHSAA State Finals on June 6th.
The 4x100m Relay team entered the state meet with the 10th best overall time and snuck into the final 9 teams to run on Saturday. The team sped to a 4th place finish with a 43.42. Jacob Vires, Al Bannister, Tyler Davis and Troy Kaiser combined to set a new school record and earn a state medal.
Jacob Vires ran a great race in the 200 m Dash to finish 6th with a time of 22.14.
