10/16/2026 Construction Update

Work continues to progress smoothly across the new Monroe High School site and construction crews are taking advantage of the nice weather! Here is a look at what our construction team accomplished this past week and what is on the schedule for the coming weeks: click here for weekly photos

Work Completed This Week

• Site & Utilities: Completed underground sanitary utility work and installed underground electrical infrastructure for site lighting.

• Foundations & Structure: Poured footings in Areas C and F. Masonry foundation walls were constructed across Areas A, B, E, and F.

• Plumbing: Completed underground plumbing installations across Areas A, B, and E.

Looking Ahead: Week of October 19

• Utilities & Infrastructure: Crews will focus heavily on site utilities, including primary electrical service, site lighting, and utility connections for sanitary, stormwater, water, and the new drive.

• Foundations & Masonry: Footing pours will continue in Areas C and D, alongside ongoing masonry foundation wall construction in Areas A and B.

• Underground Services: Underground plumbing and electrical work will expand across Areas A, B, E, and F.

Looking Ahead: Week of October 26

• Site & Earthwork: Utility installations for water, gas, and stormwater will continue, alongside grading work for the new drive.

• Structural Milestones: Crews will pour footings in Area D, prep and pour the slab-on-grade for Area A, and begin erecting bearing walls for the Area E Gymnasium.

• Underground Services: Underground plumbing and electrical work will transition into Area C.
