The curriculum department provides guidance, support and materials to the teachers and administrators of Monroe Local School District as they implement Ohio’s Academic Content Standards and the board-approved courses of study.
The department is responsible for aligning curriculum, instruction, and assessments to Ohio Learning Standards; developing, selecting, implementing, and supporting curriculum across the district; fostering effective instruction and assessment strategies to meet students' differentiated learning styles and needs; and providing professional development to staff.
The curriculum office oversees:
