Background Check Process
Any volunteer with unsupervised access to students is required to pass a criminal background check using a government-issued ID. The background check costs $18 and is valid for three years. Per board policy, this procedure is conducted at the volunteer's expense.
Volunteers should click the button below to access the Raptor website and initiate a background check. Once approved, volunteers will receive an email from Raptor Tech. Applications may take up to 72 hours to process.
If you completed a BCI through the district within the last three years, your background check has already been uploaded to the database. You can confirm this by logging in to Raptor using your personal email.
Approved volunteers will receive an email 30 days prior to their background check expiration as a reminder to renew.
