Junior Year Resources

Important Information for Juniors

The ACT is administered to all juniors in March each school year. This is required by the state of Ohio and is provided at no cost to students or families.
Juniors have access to ACT prep materials throughout the school year (see the Testing Information tab). Teachers also incorporate ACT-style questions into classroom instruction during junior year.
Counselors meet with juniors in the Spring to show them how to explore college and career interests using SchooLinks.
The PSAT is administered in October; juniors who score highly may qualify for the National Merit Scholarship.
Students take the ASVAB (career exploration tool) during their College & Career class.
Juniors begin selecting their Senior year courses in January of the junior year.
